Music has become one of the most important parts of our lives especially when it comes to listening. It is not only one’s interest but also impacts the physical and mental capabilities of an individual. Recently, Sennheiser launched their CX 7.00BT in-ear wireless earphones. Build, Design and Comfortability
The Sennheiser CX 7.00BT looks durable enough to last several years of moderate usage. The majority of earphones consists of good quality plastic band which goes around the neck. It is sleek, ergonomic and lightweight. On the left side of the neckband, there is a power button, the controls for music and calls, microphone and a USB port for charging. On the right, we’ve got the NFC chip. Also, connecting the CX 7.00BT through Bluetooth or NFC is just a matter of seconds.
The earphone comes in 3 different sized earpieces to fit in different ears and provide good sound isolation. The neckband construction helps to eliminate the damage to the wires as they don’t swirl or twist and prevents them from falling. Overall, the earphone is quite comfortable in the ears and the weight of the neckband is hard to feel.
As the earphones have a frequency response of 17Hz – 21000Hz, the bass is decent. For these earphones, I would like to emphasise on vocals. The vocals in these are one of the best I have heard in my life. The sound quality is top-notch. The treble is absolutely perfect. The mids and the highs are great as well. As I mostly listen to rock and electronic music, they work the best for me.
Coming to outdoor tests, I have tested them in the Delhi Metro. It gets decently loud and helps to avoid outside noises during a commute with no problem. Working out at the gym with these was such a pleasure due to that neckband. Also, mic works great and had no issues while taking calls.
The biggest reason for me to choose these earphones is its battery life and without a doubt, it is the best battery life ever I have seen on any bluetooth earphones. I previously owned the Soudpeats QY7 and they lasted for about 1.5 hours. These last for more than 8 hours after a full charge. The difference is massive. If you are looking for bluetooth earphones with the best battery life, the CX 7.00BT is what you should go for.
At $200 or 10000 INR, the Sennheiser CX 7.00BT is the best you can get. It offers way more than what the competition offers such as the Jaybirds X3s which cost a lot more. In case you like listening to vocals, it has the best sound quality with adequate amount of treble.
