OnePlus 6 Latest Leaks and Rumours 2018: OnePlus 5 launched in June 2017 saw record-breaking sales during the year. It emerged as one of the best budget smartphones under the price bracket of INR 40,000/ $500. Last month, OnePlus 5t was launched as a year-end upgrade to the OnePlus 5 with an 18:9 display and face unlock feature. The brand even launched the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition smartphone just before the release of the Star Wars: The Last Jedi in India this month. Now, the new reports reveal some interesting information about the upcoming OnePlus smartphone. While there is no confirmation, the 2018 flagship from OnePlus will be called as OnePlus 6.
The OnePlus 6 is said to be launched a bit earlier than usual. No one’s sure about the same but it may land in either late-Q1 or early-Q2 in 2018 with advanced features.
It will be the first smartphone by the OnePlus brand to feature a QHD Panel. The phone will be one of a kind with a new design and a larger edge-to-edge display. It will run on the recently launched Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 CPU, so it is likely to be the first preview of the 845 CPU in 2018. The rumours suggest that it would come with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. With storage, the phone will ship in 64GB or 128GB variants which is an ever going trend with OnePlus. There also are rumours which suggest that the OnePlus 6 will feature a display embedded fingerprint scanner unlike the rear-facing fingerprint scanner on the OnePlus 5T. The Face Unlock feature introduced with the OnePlus 5T will also be present on the OnePlus 6. The dual rear cameras and Dash Charge will be continued as well.
There’s no word on price yet, though OnePlus has gradually increased the price of its handsets over the years, and given the rumored specs of the OnePlus 6, it’s most likely to be one of the most expensive phone that OnePlus has ever released till time.
